Nystagmus

Definition

Rhythmic, oscillating motions of the eyes are called nystagmus. The to-and-fro motion is generally involuntary. Vertical nystagmus occurs much less frequently than horizontal nystagmus and is often, but not necessarily, a sign of serious brain damage. Nystagmus can be a normal physiological response or a result of a pathologic problem.

The Procrastinators Winter Song

I have to shovel the snow again
Beneath the dreary skies
I think I'll just wait a bit
Oh goodness! How time flies!

Let it just accumulate a bit
Let the storm clear out
Then I can deal with it just once
Its easier for my gout

No, no, I don't have gout yet
Its going to happen later
For I am told it might happen
As it happened to my Pater

Just look at it!
Higher it piles!
Down the street
For miles and miles

I must first locate my boots
Then cap and gloves as well
But just for now, sitting tight
By the fireplace is swell
